Computers in the Library

The library offers access to 18 computers (running Windows). These computers can be found throughout the library in the Huston room, Lounibos room, and the Learning Commons. Computers are equipped with the following software:

All computers have web browsers including Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge.

In addition, the Library manages a computer lab in Rosary Hall, which can be reserved for instructional purposes. More information about the lab and reservations can be found on the Room Reservation page.

Accessibility

All library computers contain literacy support software such as Read & Write. Please ask a library staff member how to access this the software.

Printing, Scanning and Copying

Use a DUNY-Card to print, copy or make a PDF scan in the library. You'll need a DUNY-Card to release any jobs through PaperCut printing software. Printing costs $0.05 per page. Copies are $0.10 per page. Machines can print in black and white, not color.

DUNY-Card funding can be replenished with a credit or debit card to add money to your card online at http://1card.duny.edu.

Wireless Access

Access to Wi-Fi is available throughout the Library. From your Wi-Fi settings, select the network name "dc_wireless". Please ask a library staff member how to access the Wi-Fi.

Charging Station

The Library has a charging station in the Learning Commons. The station can charge up to 8 Lightning, USB-C and micro USB mobile devices at once.
